This Life sized Emperor Penguin Chainsaw Carving seems to be the must have alternative garden ornament this season. So many people have fallen in love with this guy at the summer shows this year. I have made several of these Emperor Penguins a unique aspect of this design is the way the wood grain pops. I don’t normally sand my sculptures but these sleek penguins look best with a smooth finish which really brings out the individual growth rings in the wood creating subtle swirling patterns on the surface.
As with all my wooden sculptures this Emperor penguin chainsaw carving has been fully treated with the best quality wood preservatives I can get, to insure it will last for many years outside in your garden. Please note this life sized sculpture stands around 1 meter tall. Due to the size it requires quite a chunky piece of wood which adds to the weight. This item will be sent on a pallet to ensure it arrives undamaged.
